What I liked

The company culture is really great. Projects were fulfilling, and a lot of upper level employees were willing to speak with me and offer their advice.

I wish the Start intern role and expectations had been defined a little more clearly, as projects and levels of responsibility varied greatly.

Truly a hands-on experience. I was able to work through an entire Quarter 2 Review of an audit for a smaller public company by myself after I showed the manager that I was able to handle the work.

Risk Assurance Intern

June - August 2018 • San Jose, CA

What I liked

PwC gave us actual associate level work. The internship gave a sneak peek of what is actually to come during full-time work.

What I wish was different

Overall the internship was great and offered many different learning experiences. If I could change one thing it would be to have a chance to pick from a few of different teams to work with during the internship.

Advice

For any internship you participate in, be involved and don't be timid. If you are invited to socials or events after work go to them! Do not think just because it is an internship and you are getting paid that you cannot have fun.
