Audit Intern
June - August 2018 • Melville, NY
What I liked
The work environment was great. PwC is a firm that practices the culture they preach. They really put in the effort to train their interns and get them working on clients as soon as possible.
What I wish was different
The training was a little dull and repetitive at times, but once client work began I understood why- these concepts were being hammered in for a reason.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask any questions. Put yourself out there and members of the firm will recognize/appreciate it. Being vocal and showing your interest does not go unnoticed.

July - August 2018 • Hong Kong, Hong Kong
What I liked
I loved the different jobs and deals I was able to work on for PwC's Deals Strategy and Operations team. Furthermore, I loved the working environment in Hong Kong and the diverse jobs I worked with. Additionally, I gained valuable international experience and was able to work with many different Asian clients.

While proficiency in Chinese is not a necessity in Hong Kong, knowing Cantonese definitely helps in the work force, and will not restrict the number of jobs you can work on.

Core Assurance Intern
June - August 2019 • Seattle, WA
What I liked
I enjoyed having the opportunity to be working on projects with other current employees and with clients and developing a skill set that will help me stand out and continue my progress as I continue to move forward with my education and in my career. I was also able to work with a lot of great people which was really fun and a great way to expand my network while making new friends.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been able to experience work with more clients to get a full range of experience and how to adapt what you are doing to various clients.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions, it's normal and expected. If you aren't asking questions, people will think something is wrong. I would advise that you do spend a bit of time to make sure you understand what you are supposed to do and try a few things out to show that you are willing to learn and try to find solutions to problems on your own (being proactive) before asking for help.

The culture the firm provides and all the resources they have for interns and new hires.
